Privacy Policy for Weeklo

Last Updated: July 26, 2025

This Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled by the Weeklo mobile application (the "App"). Our commitment is to your privacy, so we have designed the App to be a secure, local-first experience.

1. Core Privacy Principle: Your Data is Your Own

The fundamental principle of the App is that all data you create is stored exclusively on your own device by default. We do not have servers for your planner data, and we do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal planner content unless you opt-in to our cloud sync service.

2. Information We Handle

The App needs to handle certain data on your device to function. This data includes:

By default, this information is stored in a local database on your device and is not accessible by us or any third party through the App. If you choose to use our optional cloud sync feature, this data will be securely transmitted and stored in our encrypted database (see Account & Data Deletion page for more).

3. How We Use Your Information

The data stored is used solely for the purpose of providing the App's features to you. For example:

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not share any of your personal planner data with any third parties. The App does not contain any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs that have access to your planner content.

5. Data Security

The security of your data is directly tied to the security of your device. Because your information is stored locally, it is protected by your device's own security measures (such as your passcode, biometrics, and OS-level encryption). We take reasonable precautions within the App's code to manage data securely on your device.

6. Your Control and Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data. You can manage your information directly within the App by editing or deleting tasks and planners at any time.

If you uninstall the App, all of its locally stored data will be permanently deleted from your device as part of the standard uninstallation process of your operating system. For information on deleting your cloud account and synced data, please see our Account & Data Deletion page.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed.
